The Night That The Toronto Maple Leafs Killed People

The winter of 1967 was a devastating time to say the least. For the fans in attendance of the playoff game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Minnesota North Stars, this was to be a game to remember.

For those who survived.

Few did.

With 3 and a half minutes left to go in the 2nd period, a chain of events took place that would forever change the history of the game, provided that future generations actually remembered the tragedy that was about to transpire.

Nobody is 100% sure who to blame for what transpired. Maybe it was the 5th of gin I drank tonight. Maybe it was the facebook status I just read that prompted me to write this on a whim to prove a point. What point exactly? I have long forgotten.

Anyways, fuck cops.
